Nigel Ball is an entrepreneurial leader with a track record in social change spanning government, social enterprise, and academia. He is currently setting up the new Social Purpose Lab at University of the Arts London. As the first Executive Director of the Government Outcomes Lab at Oxford University, Nigel worked alongside a team that uncovered cutting-edge research insights and has worked painstakingly alongside practitioners to change the way cross-sector partnerships work. Prior to that, Nigel was part of the founding team of West London Zone for Children and Young People, the Head of Innovation at Teach First, the leading education charity, and supported social entrepreneurship in East Africa.
Genevieve Maitland Hudson has fifteen years’ experience leading and supporting organisations in social measurement, social innovation, social impact, social entrepreneurship and social investment. She is particularly interested in how evidence is used in decision-making and has published widely on fact, theory and the interpretation of both in policy and practice. A former academic, Gen has lectured at the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, London and the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. She is currently Deputy CEO of Social Investment Business.
