Thomas Kanestad is interim executive director at Social Entrepreneurship Forum (SE Forum), a Swedish non-governmental organisation that advocates responsible business solutions to address local and global challenges and creates opportunities for social entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. Thomas’ role is both strategic and operational, with the overall responsibility to develop SE Forum and its partnerships to support social entrepreneurship worldwide.
Before joining SE Forum, Thomas worked at ICA – Sweden’s biggest supermarket chain – where he held various positions such as head of sustainability and social engagement, and worked closely with the local entrepreneurs that run ICA stores all across Sweden to support their work and local engagement.
